Service Description

Goal: Provide instruction in marksmanship to gain proficiency in application of scoped carbine for combat applications or shooting competitions in which a scoped carbine provides an advantage over a superiorly armed adversary. Usage of a magnified optic with reticle giving shooters better positive identification, wind reading, precise holds and corrections for engaging at greater distances. Learning Objectives: Provide shooters with the information to be self-reliant in zeroing, marksmanship, ammunition selection, optics and reticle usage, ballistic apps/ weather meters, supported positions, multiple distances, multiple targets, rapid response, and deployment with a scoped carbine. Gear and equipment: Semi auto rifle with optic, bipod (optional), and sling capable of 1 MOA accuracy. Rifle does not have to be a .223/5.56 caliber, can be any caliber not to exceed 30 cal. magnum. 3 magazines Support bags (various bags will be available to use in class) Shooting mat Ballistic APP or weather meter (recommend Bullet Flight M in the app store) 300 rounds of match ammunition minimum. Tripod with support or cradle (SSP, ARCA, HOG saddle, others), tripods or support barricades will be available to use at class. Any other gear, equipment, or optics you would like to use in class such as armor/helmets, vest, chest rigs, belts, laser range finder, binoculars, or spotting scopes. Eye and hearing protection. (foam ear plugs, and clear safety glasses will be available) Water, snacks, bug spray, sunscreen. We will break for lunch for about an hour.
