Night vision carbine course

Service Description

Learn to utilize your carbine while using night vision devices from CQB distances out to 400 yards, this course will push what you thought possible with a carbine. Learn to optimize your night vision devices set up, figure out which zero to use for optimal reach, learn to engage from various positions to build a stable position for precise engagements. Students will engage close range mover during various scenarios, use of cover, movement, communication will be utilized during this course. Course hours will be 2 pm to 10 pm, you will have classroom instruction, perform most tasks during the day such as zeroing your day sight, shoot short range drills, shoot distance out to 400 yards, then confirm using night vision once it gets dark. Course will require 400 rounds minimum of ball or match ammunition, please DO NOT bring any military green tip, steel core, or other armor piercing ammunition. It damages steel plates and target stands. Required equipment Carbine with sighting system either red dot, LVPO, or precision optic Sling (prefer single point sling) 3 magazines min with ability to carry on belt or vest Night vision device with head mount Weapon mounted IR or visible laser system Head lamp or handheld flashlight Safety glasses and hearing protection Optional equipment A handgun can be brought to the course, but you must demonstrate safe handling in order to use during the course. 50 rounds of pistol ammunition with corresponding magazines/ pouches. White/IR capable flashlights IR strobe or IFF marker Helmet/ plate carrier shooting tripod laser range finder rear bag/ support quick detach bipod suppressor cleaning gear/ lubrication gloves clothing to match weather conditions any other gear that you would like to use during the course
